My wife Robbin and I have been married since 1972. Robbin is a Registered Nurse working for Travel Nurses International. We have two grown children: Scott, born 1974 and Cyndi, born in 1976. Scott works in Redding as a finish carpenter and has a daughter, Desere, born in 1995.  Cyndi works for a software firm, Pinpoint Technologies, in Boulder, Colorado and has a daughter, Leah, born 1997.

My non-forestry interests include outdoor activities, especially Baseball and rafting. I also enjoy professional football. Robbin and I are 49'er fans and share season tickets with Jim and Lana.

I have been a Registered Professional Forester in the State of California since 1973. My primary experience is in planning, preparation, and administration of commercial timber sales on federal, state, and private land. Specific expertise includes:
